“In my day-to-day life, I try to stimulate a reconciliation of the relationships taking place between a young person, school, their family and their life story in the hope that our intervention will become unnecessary and that this relationship triangle will continue to evolve without me. ”
As a cabinetmaker turned educator, my interest centres around innovative experiences related to childhood and schooling. From a home welcoming children attending the village school set up by the DGEJ, via a special needs education school with significant medico-psychological resources, I am now involved in a Vaudois MATAS. The activity of being a mediator, as a liberating support that stimulates the autonomy of the young person, has underpinned all three experiences. At the same time, I work at HETSL for a module that addresses the methodology of educational intervention, and a second module that centres around communication and interviews. More broadly, I am involved in various civic activities, in the life of our democratic society in a spirit of solidarity.
Educational project within MATAS JUMP aimed at supporting the retention of young people whose motivation to learn is undermined by a risk of dropping out. With the arrival of social educators in the schools of the canton Vaud, I am interested in further exploring the potential of a remote educational intervention that is complementary to that being offered in schools.
