Development of the numeracy skills of 4- to 6-year-old pupils, and the school-family relationship through intercultural mathematical games.
Early education, the school-family relationship and support for teachers are among the European recommendations listed to fight against early school leaving (European recommendations for Early School Leaving, 2011). Among these early learnings, numeracy skills are very predictive of later mathematical performance and are associated with academic success. Parental involvement is also beneficial.
