Collaborative partnership in action

This research project, taking place in Australia in Queensland, aims to document the collaborative process implemented within a school to promote the academic success of adolescents with autism spectrum disorder.

Brief research overview

The research project “Collaborative Partnerships in Action” aims to extend and translate the findings of the Australian Educational Needs Analysis (ASD-ENA) by producing, over time, resources that map real examples of collaborations. These resources will demonstrate how educational communities (teachers, parents, students), monitored during a whole school year, can work together to meet the needs of students with autism spectrum disorder.

Main objectives

This qualitative research follows 3 independent objectives:

To collect case studies in real school situations;
To illustrate the collaborative process within partnerships in the educational community through the collection of visual data;
To develop a multimedia resource.
