“I like it when students question the educational system and its standards, be it through their words or their actions. It is important that the school embraces these essential questions, even the most difficult, in order to evolve and become truly inclusive”.
Cathy Day is a teacher, teacher trainer, programme manager, cultural advisor, member of the management of secondary schools and also the dean in charge of the Lullin educational institution, which is specifically intended to promote the (re)integration of young people in school in the secondary grade II in Geneva (15 to 23 years olds).
All aspects of culture and school interest her! She appreciates environments in which challenges develop creativity, reflexivity, and an evolution of conceptions and practices.
She loves diversity, discoveries, reassessments, sharing, teamwork, literature, cinema, and music but she dislikes certainties, routine, injustice, any forms of discrimination and exclusion.
