“We will succeed in reducing inequalities first by ceasing to do what produces them rather than doing what we think is missing in the situation order to get there.”
After studying pharmacy followed by educational sciences, I completed a thesis at the University of Geneva on the role of the recognition in the building of professional knowledge. Currently, I am a professor at the HEP-BEJUNE in the research pathway entitled “Inclusion Scolaire” [“School Inclusion”]. I am interested in the issues linked to inclusive education from the perspective of inequalities, with a more specific focus on teaching practices and the particular needs of various school actors. In my current projects, I am in particular investigating the concept of BEP [SEN – special education needs], the implementation of a mechanism for action research and a training system for differentiated instruction, as well as the conditions supporting a successful integration into school.
