Anne-Françoise de Chambrier has worked as a speech therapist for several years. She defended her thesis, which focused on arithmetic strategies used by students with or without difficulties, in 2017, under the supervision of Prof. Pascal Zesiger at the University of Geneva.
Her research work focuses on the learning of oral and written language, numerical and arithmetic skills as well as pedagogical adaptation.
She took part in the “Mathplay” project, a project aimed at promoting young pupils' learning of mathematics through games set up in class and at home. She also contributed to the “ELODI” project, which focused on teaching reading to students with intellectual disabilities.
